Agnieszka Smaga – PhD of humanist sciences, literary scholar, Master of Arts, graphic artist. Working as an adjunct in the Section of Intersemiotic Poetics and Media Comparative Studies; member of the the Laboratory of Intersemiotic and Intermedia Research UW. She is an author of Formizm w poezji Tytusa Czyżewskiego, received scholarship of the National Education Ministry twice (1995/96 and 1997/98) also received scholarship of The Swiss Confederation (2001-2002).
In the circle of her scientific interests are the relationship between writing and image, i.a.: their ontology, structural community, intersemiotic translation, visual poetry, concrete poetry, typography, text communication and visual arts, new media. Analyzes the the transition from the intermedial model of coexistence of literature and the visual arts to transmedial forms of communication present on the Internet. Piotr Kubiński - PhD of humanist sciences, literary scholar associated with the Faculty of Polish Studies UW as a graduate and PhD student; secretary and researcher in the Laboratory of Intersemiotic and Intermedia Research UW. Earned a doctoral degree at the Faculty of Polish Studies based on the dissertation "Poetics of video games. Specific features". As a researcher he deals mainly with media and digital texts, with particular emphasis on video games. Research conducted in the spirit of interdisciplinarity, usually uses the tools developed by semiotics, comparative and media studies. His most important contribution to the state of the research was the development of a proprietary category of emmersion - see. P. Literatura i nowe media (Kraków 2011, with Piotr Marecki), editor of chapbook Michael Joyce: polski pisarz (Kraków 2011) and co-editor of chapbooks: Obsessiveanticipation (Kraków 2013), The World in Hyper(de)Scription: On the Film-poems of Katarzyna Giełżyńska (Kraków 2012, with Piotr Marecki). Creator of the "Techsty. Literatura i nowe media" magazine. Nominated for Ted Nelson Award by ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) at the Hypertext conference 2001. Works with ElectronicLiterature Organization (ELO). His doctoral dissertation was awarded in the competition of the National Cultural Centre.

Marek Kaźmierczak – Prof. Assoc. of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, employed at the Institute of European Culture UAM in Gniezno, PhD habilitated in culture studies, PhD in literature studies. graduated philosophy, polish philology and also studies at the "ArtesLiberales" Academy. He is a semiotician: expert in cultural studies, media studies and literature studies. He is involved with studies of various images of popular culture and forms of interpersonal communication on the Internet. Separate domain of his scientific work are studies regarding common thinking. He is collaborating with Department of Film, Television and New Media UAM; he is a member of the Laboratory of Intersemiotic and Intermedia Research UW and a member of the Semiotic Laboratory affiliated with the "Artes Liberales" UW Faculty.

Urszula Pawlicka - PhD student at the Warmińsko-Mazurski University. She is a member of the Laboratory of Intersemiotic and Intermedia Research UW. Took part in the MOST program at the Warsaw University (2013/2014). Participant in Digital Humanities Summer Institute in Canada (2014). Collaborating with Ha!art Corporation. Published her works in the scientific magazines (i.a. "Przegląd Humanistyczny", "Zagadnienia Rodzajów Literackich"), also publicist ones (i.a. "Czas Kultury", "Lampa", "Techsty", "Fragile"). Author of the (Polska) poezja cybernetyczna. Konteksty i charakterystyka (2012). PhD thesis concerns the relationship between literature and new media (especially electronic literature). Research Interests: receiving e-lit as the experience of digital culture, the issue of materiality and reading e-lit with the use of tools of the new humanities (performativity, causativity, collectivity). Joanna Szwechłowicz –Graduate of MISH at UAM in Poznań, polish studies scholar and sociologist; novelist. PhD student in the Department of Comparative Studies ILP UW researcher at the Laboratory of Intersemiotic and Intermedia Research. Published her works i.a. in "Polonistyka", "Przegląd Humanistyczny" and post-conference tomes. Scientific interests: amateur literary critique on the Internet, reader blogs and forums, popular literature.
